Mezcal Alipus Sn andres (750ml)
Alipus San Andres is crafted with maguey Espadin and Bicuishe. Located at an elevation of around 5000 feet, the land around the palenque of Don Valente is a high plateau of mostly shale soil. These difficult conditions render it inhospitable to most vegetation, with agave being one of the few species able to flourish here. The mezcals from Don Valente are renowned for their unique aromas and flavors, and Alipus San Andres is no exception. Recent bottlings of this mezcal will feature both maguey Espadin and Bicuishe on their labels.
