In 1987 Fleur de Carneros was conceived to offer restaurants, wine shops, and our customers a line of wines that would be approachable and delightful. In the many years since, we have upgraded the source of fruit for Fleur de California wines and we have included more of our estate fruit in the wines. With better quality fruit comes better quality wines and Winemaker Ken Foster takes full advantage of the wonderful fruit we receive from our estate vineyards and those of our friends and neighbors.
First bottled in 1987, the Fleur Pinot Noir Carneros was the first Fleur release. Today’s Fleur Pinot is a bigger, richer wine but still perfectly balanced and approachable. This Pinot is packed with the cherry & strawberry aromas/flavors typically found in Carneros.
