Arran Malt 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 700ml
- WHY: Arran is real small production whisky made by one of Scotland’s first new wave independents. Concentrated with vanilla, stone fruit, baking spices and a rich, nutty finish, the 10 year old is a fantastic entry into the world outside of corporate Scotch whisky.
- HOW: Using a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks for maturation, the whisky is classically Highland in style, yet located on an island far south of the Scottish region.
- WHAT: Arran was founded in 1993 on the Isle of Arran and launched its first single malt in 2005. It produces just over a million liters of whisky per year (about 8% of what Glenfiddich makes annually), and has a small, yet enthusiastic fanbase of loyal drinkers that actively promote the brand within small circles around the globe.
