Without any preliminaries, the nose offers a platter of candied fruits such as candied orange peel and mandarin orange, as well as raisins coated with chocolate. It develops nicely on pulpy fruits such as black cherry and fresh fig, all sprinkled with some sweet spices such as cardamom.
