Age of the vines: 50 years
Terroir: Located a few kilometres from Nuits Saint Georges, on a slope facing south/south-west, at an altitude of around 380 metres. Soil is white marl and clay.
Cultivation method: Lutte raisonnée, tillage.
Harvesting: Grapes are hand-picked and -sorted
Fermentation: Cold maceration on skins for approx. 24 hrs and pressing. Fermentation is partly in barrels (50%) and partly in vats.
Maturation: Approximately 10 months on lees (50% in barrels, 50% in vats)
Tasting notes: Supple and fruity, aromas of fresh fruit and white flowers, developing into spices and dried fruit.
Food match: Fish dishes with sauce, poultry with cream.
Serving temperature: 10°C to 12°C
Cellaring potential: Can be enjoyed while young, but cellaring may be extended for more advanced wine enthusiasts.
