Varietal: Cinsault, Grenache/Garnacha, Mourvedre, Syrah/Shiraz

 

This wine is made from three sources 0.6ha situated near a site south of town and outside any appellation (Syrah and Grenache). 0.5ha in Orange is situated in AOC Cotes du Rhone (Mourvèdre). Part of the wine is declassified Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Le Petit Roy is made from parcels situated in the commune of Châteauneuf du Pape, a parcel in AC Côtes du Rhône between Châteauneuf du Pape and Orange and parcels situated near the Rhône river, and some declassified Chateauneuf du Pape. The vineyards are worked with the same care as those of Châteauneuf du Pape and the vinification is similar.
