Los Javis Tepeztate is crafted with the Tepeztate variety of agave, sourced from Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca. This mezcal is prepared through traditional methods; the agave is roasted in an underground oven, tahona-crushed, open-air fermented, then double-distilled in a copper pot still.
