This mezcal hails from Chilapa de Alvarez, a town in Guerrero, and is crafted by Master Mezcalero Refugio Calzada, also known as Don Cuco. The batch features two types of Papalote (Cupreata) and boasts flavors of pine, honeysuckle, eucalyptus, green melon, dried blueberries, and cedar. The finish delivers a touch of sweet smoke, leather, and wet stone.
